Once Andrew Pierce and Ashley Hudson first met in a church in Hamburg they realized there was no going back. Ashley was only 17 and never had a boyfriend so they took it slow. But, it was that they fell in love right away. Andrew prayed to God during New Year's Day, just prior to the start of 2016. Andrew asked God for one final blessing that year: that Ashley decide to marry him and that she would be married. Ashley had always wanted a romantic, woodsy themed wedding with a folk theme that really represented her as well as Andrew. To create their perfect wedding, Andrew and Ashley chose to incorporate elements of everything they adore. Ashley developed in the 40 acres of land picked as the location for their wedding. They walked from the path across the fields the couple said I do in. Ashley has explored and played around on it. Andrew and Ashley have also explored in this spot several times since when they first started dating. It was important to personalize the wedding since nearly all of the decorations were made by the bride and groom. Andrew and Ashley's dad created the ceremony arch as well as the seating, while Ashley did a great deal of decorating and painting. Ashley claims that we might not have had the magical wedding I had imagined if it wasn't for Anna's floral designs. Absolutely stunning.
